Mal mehr, eher weniger:
2024 sind meine musikalischen Aktivitäten stark
eingeschränkt, die Bands und Band-sind Projekte alle auf Stand-by gestellt und
der Fokus auf die Entwicklung eines Solo-Liverepertoires gerichtet. Der digitale Achtspur-Rekorder in einer Ecke meines kleinen Zimmers erfüllt
mehr denn ja die Funktion eines Tagebuchs. Hin und wieder, wenn es Zeit und
Stimmung, erlauben, skizziere ich darauf kleine Musik-Stücke, lasse diese dann
wochen-, teilweise monatelang liegen, entdecke sie dann wiede und hinterlasse
hier eine weitere Gitarrenspur, da eine neue Melodie, manchmal schreibe ich ein
paar Textzeilen und versuche mich an Songs... Im besten Sinne fliesst hier
alles ineinander, wächst organisch aus sich selbst heraus - es entstehen quasi
Zimmerpflanzen aus Musik. So erklärt sich also der Name für dieses Album: Die
Zimmerkrautsessions !

Stücke der ganzen Ernte präsentieren sich jetzt hier der Welt.
Sometimes more, sometimes less:
In 2024, my musical activities are severely restricted, the bands and
band-are projects are all put on standby and the focus is on developing a solo
live repertoire.The digital eight-track recorder in a corner of my small room serves
more than ever the function of a diary. Every now and then, when time and mood
allow, I sketch small pieces of music on it, then leave them lying around for
weeks, sometimes months, then rediscover them, leave another guitar track here,
a new melody there, sometimes I write a few lines of text and try my hand at
songs...
In the best sense, everything flows into one another here, grows organically
from itself - houseplants are created from music, so to speak. This explains
the name of this album: The "Houseweed Sessions"! The four most beautiful (hypnotic/most far-fetched/dreamy/most complex)
pieces of the entire harvest are now presented to the world here...
